5 Steps to turn wishes into ACTION!

buy metformin paypal Ever hear yourself say…”I’d like to (fill in the blanks) one day.  Maybe you’re inspired by someone else’s story?  You’re watching “The Biggest Loser”, “The Bachelor”, “The Real Housewives of Nowhere”… or just simply day dreaming about those places you’d like to visit, health plan you’re gonna start, projects you never finished (or started), or maybe even a new career you’d like to try.

click this link here now Is it procrastination or fear?  Maybe it seems too overwhelming?  You just don’t have the time or money to go there right now.  You’re too old.  Most often… you just don’t know where to begin!

So now what???  You watch a video about juicing, interval training, or backpacking through Thailand.  You get excited!  Inspired even!!!  Maybe you’ll do it this time!  And then… you don’t.

The purpose of this post is to help you get from start to finish with 5 simple steps that take you from the first baby step to the leap of faith and it WORKS for everything I’ve ever committed to doing.

Remember… the end game is to create a life that is uniquely yours with NO REGRETS!!!

STEP ONE:  RESEARCH!!!  Read up on the hows, the who’s done it already, the costs, the potential obstacles. Contact experts. Take notes that you can look back on later.

STEP TWO: Tell SOMEONE what your plan is and when you’re starting. Now you’re COMMITTED and ACCOUNTABLE!!!

STEP THREE: Create your ACTION PLAN!  These are the measurable steps you’ll take on the journey. MOST IMPORTANT… Give yourself a DEADLINE.  “I will start blogging on September 15th!”

Example… a shopping list of supplies, actually shopping for the supplies, hiring an expert (personal trainer, travel agent, attorney, accountant, web master, nutritionist, etc.), setting aside or earning extra cash to fund it if needed, road mapping the journey, setting a start AND end date, and working the plan.

STEP FOUR: Create a DAILY list that fulfills a necessary step in the ACTION plan.

Example… If it’s “shopping for supplies day” Make a list/route of errands and items needed.  If it’s a “research day”, list the sites you need to visit that day.

It’s VERY IMPORTANT that there are at least 3 THINGS on your list of things to accomplish each day that bring you closer to the next step in your ACTION PLAN!  Even if it’s only a few emails, a quick errand, a phone call… whatever.  Don’t let a day go by that doesn’t include a MEASURABLE step!!!

STEP FIVE: Check in with yourself.  Rewrite the journey if it’s not working or you need to deviate.  That’s OKAY!  Just don’t lose track of your ACTION PLAN and stay on schedule! You still have a deadline and you’re accountable now!!!



CELEBRATE!!!  Acknowledge the accomplishment! Now you know that you CAN, because you just DID!!!
